Mary Elizabeth Ellis to Guest Star on Fox's NEW GIRL
As first reported in The Hollywood Reporter, actress Mary Elizabeth Ellis will be returning to the Fox comedy NEW GIRL in a multi-arc storyline. The actress will reprise her role of Caroline, ex-girlfriend of Nick's (Jake Johnson) in the season's three remaining episodes.
According to a 20th Century Fox representative, Ellis's run will coicide with guest appearances by actor Justin Long, who plays star Zooey Deschanel's boyfriend Paul.
Ellis previously appeared in the New Girl pilot and the episode entitled "Wedding." The actress is best known for her role on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' and 'Perfect Couples'. She will soon appear in a guest-starring role in the comedy series 'Happy Endings'.
NEW GIRL is a new comedy series on Fox from executive producer and writer Liz Meriwether (“No Strings Attached”). The show features a young ensemble cast that takes a fresh look at modern relationships.
