Marguerite Derricks to Choreograph 2011 Emmy Awards

Marguerite Derricks has been tapped to choreograph the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards which will be broadcast from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 (8:00 PM EDT live / 5:00 PM PDT live) on Fox. Marguerite previously choreographed the 58th Emmy Awards hosted by Conan O'Brien. Derricks will work with host Jane Lynch (Glee, Criminal Minds).

One of the most in demand choreographers working today in the entertainment industry, Marguerite has choreographed such memorable films as the Austin Powers franchise, the Charlie's Angels films, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Little Ms. Sunshine, Tropic Thunder, and most recently No Strings Attached. In the television world Marguerite has choreographed for Third Rock from the Sun (Emmy Award), The Good Will Games (Emmy Award), Fame LA (Emmy Award), True Blood, Will and Grace, and That 70's Show, among several others. She also choreographed the 2009 Academy Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman.

In addition to conquering television and film, Marguerite has significant theatre credits to her name as well, including The Rocky Horror Show at the Tiffany Theatre, Finian's Rainbow at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami, Sister Act at the Pasadena Playhouse, Cirque du Soleil "Zumanity" in New York and Las Vegas, and the Broadway musical Wonderland which opened in April of 2011.
