"Halloween" - Claire loves Halloween and is gearing up to spookify the Dunphy house for the trick or treaters. She gives each family member a role to play, but none of it goes quite right... Cameron can't shake a traumatic childhood experience and hates the holiday, Mitchell has had a terrible day at work, and Gloria is acting weird after Jay and Manny teased her about her accent, on "Modern Family," WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29 (9:31-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. "Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett, Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Sof'a Vergara as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell Pritchett, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, Sarah Hyland as Haley Dunphy, Nolan Gould as Luke Dunphy, Ariel Winter as Alex Dunphy and Rico Rodriguez as Manny Delgado.

Guest cast includes Ryan Gaul as Lance, Amir Talai as Dale, Mike Faiola as James, Chris Erric Maddox as Ethan, Justin Kirk as Charlie Bingham, Matt Besser as Jerry, Lauren Tju as kid no. 1, Tanner Buchanan as kid no. 2, Curtis Harris as kid no. 3 and Randy Haynie as stunt safety.

"Halloween" was written by Jeffrey Richman and directed by Michael Spiller.

"Modern Family" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's Selected HD Format, with 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
