"Meet the Press with David Gregory" was the top-rated Sunday morning public affairs hour for November 25, 2012, according to Nielsen Media Research data. "Meet the Press" attracted 2.836 million total viewers, leading This Week by +446,000, the Face the Nation hour by +709,000, and FOX News Sunday by +1,522,000.
MTP delivered an additional 1,325,000 total viewers and 625,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts -- 576,000 total viewers and 286,000 viewers A25-54 on the network, and 749,000 total viewers and 339,000 viewers A25-54 on MSNBC.In Washington, DC, MTP 107,000 total viewers (3.4/10 HH), +123% ahead of the Face The Nation hour’s 48,000 viewers (1.5/4 HH), +215% more than This Week’s 34,000 viewers (1.1/3 HH), and +224% over FOX News Sunday’s 33,000 viewers (1.0/3 HH).Highlights:-MTP led This Week by +19% (+446,000), the Face the Nation hour by +33% (+709,000), and FOX News Sunday by +116% (+1,522,000).
-In homes, MTP delivered a 2.1 rating and 6 share, ahead of This Week’s 1.7/5, the Face the Nation hour’s 1.6/4, and FOX News Sunday’s 1.0/3.
-In rating A25-54, MTP delivered a 0.6 rating, +1 tenth more than the Face the Nation hour, and +2 tenths more than FOX News Sunday.
-MTP averaged 720,000 A25-54 (000) viewers, +30% (+165,000) more than the Face the Nation hour, and +57% (+261,000) ahead of FOX News Sunday.
