Maury Povich returns today, September 19, 2011 for the 14th season of MAURY, a daily one-hour nationally syndicated talk show from NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

"Maury" continues to deliver more than 3.3 million daily viewers and finished the 2010/11 season as the youngest-skewing syndicated talk show. It is also the #1 rated talk show among Women 18-34 and Adults 18-34. Since the end of the May 2011 sweep, Maury is the #1 syndicated talk show among Total Viewers, Women 18-34, Women 18-49, Women 25-54, Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49, and Adults 25-54 while being # 1 or 2 among Households. Along with being a highly rated talk show, over 50% of Maury’s audience is made up of Adults 18-49 making it the highest concentration among all the syndicated talk shows in the advertiser friendly demographic. Since "Maury" made its debut as a national talk show, more than 60 daytime talk shows have come and gone. Not only has "Maury" survived in a very competitive talk show landscape, the program has thrived.

As a veteran journalist, Povich is known for his ability to get to the heart of issues. This season, 'Maury' continues to explore compelling issues that affect relationships and families. The show also covers topical items from the news, talent shows and psychic phenomenon. Each episode includes more backstage and behind-the-scenes footage than ever before, opening the doors for viewers, exposing them to the guests and inner workings of the show.
