Lionsgate Picks Up Distribution for IMOGENE, Starring Kirsten Wiig and Featuring Darren Criss

According to Deadline.com, distribution rights to Imogene, the dysfunctional comedy film starring Kirsten Wiig and Annette Bening and featuring GLEE and HOW TO SUCCEED Broadway star Darren Criss, have been bought by Lionsgate. The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last weekend.

The film is helmed by Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Bergman, with script by Michelle Morgan. As described by IMDb, in the film "A playwright stages a suicide in an attempt to win back her ex, only to wind up in the custody of her gambling-addict mother."

The movie also features Matt Dillon, Natasha Lyonne, June Diane Raphael, Nathan Corddry, Michelle Hurd, Mickey Sumner, Ronald Guttman, Brian Petsos and more.

Imogene will be released with Roadside Attractions.
