Laura Bell Bundy to Guest on ABC's MALIBU COUNTRY, 2/8

Broadway's Laura Bell Bundy will guest star on an upcoming episode of the new ABC comedy Malibu Country in the role of 'Shauna' In the episode entitled "Adventures in Babysitting", in order to keep her from losing her deal with the record label, Reba agrees to collaborate with superstar bad girl singer Shauna (Bundy), who demands to move into Reba's home for awhile in order to get to know her better.

But her bad habits start to rub off on the kids when she asks Cash to buy her some alcohol and encourages June to stop being so dependable. Meanwhile, Lillie Mae begins to think that Reba doesn't miss her when she moves into Kim's house for a few days after agreeing to housesit for her. The episode airs FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (8:31-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

On Broadway, Bundy originated the lead role of Elle Woods in the Broadway musical LEGALLY BLONDES for which she received a Tony Award nomination. She also originated the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Tony-Award winning Broadway musical HAIRSPRAY and played Glinda in the SMASH hit WICKED.

Offstage, Bundy has appeared in films including THE ADVENTURES OF HUCK FUNN, LIFE WITH MIKEY, and JUMANJI. She appeared in the 2006 film adaptation of DREAMGIRLS, as well as in television with a recurring guest stint on the hit CBS comedy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Her first album, Longing for a Place Already Gone, was released in 2007 and her sophomore album, Achin' and Shakin', was released in 2010.

"Malibu Country" stars Reba as Reba, Lily Tomlin as Lillie Mae, Sara Rue as Kim, Justin Prentice as Cash, Juliette Angelo as June and Jai Rodriguez as Geoffrey.
