LIVE WITH KELLY AND RYAN Closes Out 'Record Breaker Week' With a Surprise for Executive Producer Michael Gelman

All this week "Live with Kelly and Ryan" has kept the "LIVEtember" momentum going with "Record Breaker Week," turning each day into an epic attempt to secure a new Guinness World Records™ title.

Today, hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest closed out a week of record-setting excitement with a special surprise - for executive producer Michael Gelman. Gelman, who became the youngest producer of a nationally Syndicated talk show with "Live"'s debut in 1988, has been at the helm of "Live" since its inception and a vital part of the show's success over the years. This morning, it was revealed that Gelman himself has earned a Guinness World Records title for "The Most Morning Talk Show Episodes Produced for a Single Talk Show" - an astounding 7,534 as of Sept. 12.

Over the years, "Live" has solidified its place in history with a wide range of over-the-top Guinness World Records attempts, and the 2018 edition of "Record Breaker Week" has been no exception. On Monday, Ripa and Seacrest and hundreds of dancers took over the street outside of the "Live" studio, smashing the record for "Most People Doing the 'Floss' Dance Move Simultaneously." On Tuesday, the Xtreme Team scored a new world record for the "Most Basketball Under the Leg Slam Dunks by a Team Using a Trampoline in One Minute." And on Wednesday, professional cardstacker Bryan Berg finally got his shot at redemption, when he took the world record to new heights by building the "Tallest House of Cards in One Hour."

"Live with Kelly and Ryan" is distributed in national Syndication by Disney|ABC Home Entertainment and TV Distribution. The show is produced by WABC-TV in New York and executive produced by Michael Gelman, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest.
