Kristen Stewart Signs On For CAMP X-RAY and SILS MARIA

According to Deadline, Kristen Stewart will star in Camp X-Ray, written and directed by Peter Sattler, and Sils Maria, directed by Olivier Assayas.

Stewart will play a young soldier who leaves her small town after joining the military and ends up serving at Guantanamo instead of shipping out to Iraq in Camp X-Ray. The movie is set to begin production later this summer.

In Sils Maria, Stewart joins Juliette Binoche and Chloe Moretz for a story exploring the mid-life psyche. Stewart will play Binoche's character's assistant. Binoche's character becomes obsessed with a young actress, played by Moretz, who is starring in a role that previously made Binoche's character famous. Filming will begin this summer in Europe.

Stewart's other upcoming projects include The Big Shoe and Snow White and the Huntsman 2.
