DoSomething.org has been the premiere national award for community service, honoring the nation's best, young world-changers, 25 and under since 1996. And this year they're teaming up with VH1 for their biggest celebration yet of these globally-minded movers and shakers!

On a night full of hilarious hosts, huge celebrities and hot music performances, one well-deserving "do-er" will receive a grand prize of $100,000 for his or her cause.

The 2012 Do Something Awards will presented at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. This year's Awards are executive produced by Michael Dempsey for Dempsey Productions and Lee Rolontz for VH1. Nancy Lublin and Naomi Hirabayashi oversee the awards show for DoSomething.org.
