"The Simpsons" will feature the voices of GLEE star Jane Lynch and That Championship Season's Kiefer Sutherland in its upcoming season, reports TV Guide.

Lynch, who plays scheming cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on the popular musical show GLEE, will voice a not-so-dissimilar character on The Simpsons as a woman who becomes Homer's assistant and "undermines him, takes his job, and he has to fight back," says producer Al Jean.

Sutherland, meanwhile, will voice a character with striking similarities to the one he played in FOX's "24", Jack Bauer. "[Jack Bauer] goes to Springfield because too many people are trying to kill him. He befriends the Simpsons, but then one of the guys who wants to kill him sees him on YouTube after he foils a robbery at Moe's Tavern," explains Jean.

The show airs Wednesdays at 8 PM EST on Fox. Read the full TV Guide article here.
