According to Variety, THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND's Kevin MacDonald is in talks to direct Fox 2000's upcoming Elvis Presley biopic LAST TRAIN TO MEMPHIS.

The film, based upon Peter Gulanick's 1995 biopgraphy on the rock and roll icon, "chronicles Presley's early years and his transformation from a High School kid to an overnight sensation credited with ushering in a radical new era in music," the site writes. John Fusco will pen the script.

The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger will produce under his Jagged Films banner, alongside Victoria Pearman.

As of now, the studio has launched an official website in search of a young actor to portray Presley. Check it out here.
