According to a Tweet today, Kenneth Branagh's upcoming live-action CINDERELLA will be released on March 13, 2015. CINDERELLA is expected to begin filming by the end of the year.
DOWNTON ABBEY's Lily James stars in the title role, with Cate Blanchett as the iconic evil stepmother, and GAME OF THRONES' Richard Madden as the prince.
James' costar Sophie McShera and Holliday Granger will take on the roles of Cinderella's wicked step-sisters, and Helena Bonham Carter is continuing her quirky character streak, having just joined the cast as The Fairy Godmother.Pictured: Lily James.
