Kathy Griffin to Take on Royal Wedding for TVGuide Special, 4/29

Fresh off of her Broadway run, comedian Kathy Griffin will host "Kathy Griffin's Insightful and Hilarious Take on the Royal Wedding," a one hour special that will take a light-hearted, humorous look at the ultra-formal nuptials premiering on Friday, April 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PTon the TV Guide network.

Griffin says, "I'm thrilled at the opportunity to take TV Guide Network to a level of high class...or down to the gutter; I haven't decided which. Either way, as a longtime royal watcher -- and let's be honest, I'm referring to Prince Harry's adorable arse -- I'm eminently qualified to cover the wedding of the year, and not just because I once saw Helen Mirren at In-N-Out Burger. If I can survive having Brooke Shields as my maid of honor (go ahead and Google that one, I'll wait) then I'm fully prepared for that cozy little chapel of love called Westminster Abbey.
