Katey Sagal to Appear in FX's THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER
Katey Sagal is sticking around on FX.
According to Deadline, the SONS OF ANARCHY actress confirmed today in a Q&A with reporters that she would "definitely" be involved with husband Kurt Sutter's latest project on the network, titled THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER.
A period piece, 'EXECUTIONER' "tells the story of a warrior knight in King Edward III's charge who is broken by the ravages of war and vows to lay down his sword. But when that violence finds him again he is forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all."
Sagal's TV credits include her role as 'Peggy Bundy' in FOX's Married...with Children, which earned her four Golden Globe Award nominations, her voice work as 'Leela' on Futurama, 8 Simple Rules, and, of course, FX'sSons of Anarchy, for which she won a 2011 Golden Globe. Sagal is also a singer/songwriter, having released the albums "Well..." and "Room."
