Giants is a scripted drama digital series starring Bland, along with child star Vanessa Baden Kelly ("Kenan & Kel," "Rosewood") and new-comer Sean Samuels. The show follows three black millennials: Malachi (Bland), Journee (Baden Kelly) and Ade (Samuels), each battling their own inner giants as they approach age 30. Giants transcends the typical coming of age story by pushing new boundaries of very real issues including mental health, sexual identity, religious skepticism and unorthodox methods of economic survival.

"Giants explores social issues that are either ignored or stigmatized by the black community," said Bland. "And regardless of race, these characters' experiences are relatable to almost anyone because they learn the hard way that when life kicks your ass, you either lie down or fight back."

Giants is the newest series to join a collection of diverse content featured on Rae's Youtube channel under the ColorCreative.TV banner. ColorCreative.TV was founded by Issa Rae and Producer Deniese Davis to raise awareness for writers from diverse backgrounds, and provide a springboard for their careers by producing and selling their work to digital, network and cable platforms. Since premiering the award-winning comedic web series, The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl in 2011, the channel has exploded with 240,000 subscribers and over 50 million views collectively across all content.
