RR Movie Makers, a leading entertainment company headquartered in India and headed by prolific producer Venkat, is launching a U.S. based film financing and production outfit to generate up to three English-language pictures a year. The company's first project is DIVORCE INVITATION, a romantic comedy starring Jonathan Bennett, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and Nadia Bjorlin.

Critically acclaimed and award-winning Indian director S.V. Krishna Reddy will make his U.S. directorial debut on the project. Krishna Reddy (who has a story by credit), Bala Rajasekharuni, and Robert Naturman wrote the screenplay. Venkat will produce with Ram serving as an executive producer. M.S.P. Srinivas Reddy is co-producer. Principal photography commences in August in Los Angeles.

DIVORCE INVITATION centers on Mike Christian (Bennett), a happily married man who runs into his high school sweetheart Alex (Nadia Bjorlin) and after all these years, sparks still fly. When Mike is determined Alex is his true soul mate, he realizes he has a huge problem-he signed an iron-clad pre-nuptial agreement and his wife (Sigler) will not let him out of the marriage.
Krishna Reddy commented, "Many of the reputed Indian directors' lifelong dreams have been to make the crossover into Hollywood. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with our U.S. crew and above-the-line talent to deliver a humorous and commercial movie for audiences around the globe."

Krishna Reddy is a veteran of the India film industry having helmed an impressive 39 features during the span of his career. He is a multi-talented filmmaker and traditionally writes, directs, acts and composes the score and songs for all of his movies.

Sigler is best known for playing Meadow Soprano on HBO's critically acclaimed drama "The Sopranos." Bennett will next be seen in the action feature SOUVENIRS also starring James Cromwell. His film credits include MEAN GIRLS starring opposite Lindsay Lohan; and VAN WILDER: FRESHMAN YEAR.
Bjorlin is a 29 year old Persian-Swedish American actress. She is renowned for her soprano voice. Her major breakthrough came on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives," where she first appeared in December 1999. Nadia originally left Days in June 2003 to concentrate on her singing career, but returned on a recurring basis in November 2004. In September 2005, Nadia left again and joined the cast of the UPN series "Sex, Love & Secrets." The show was later canceled by the network, but Nadia continued to make guest appearances on television series such as "Jake in Progress" and "Out of Practice." Björlin has appeared in the independent feature film, IF I HAD KNOWN I WAS A GENIUS, starring Markus Redmond, Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon Stone, and Tara Reid.
