Johnny Depp to Release Album of Pirate Ballads

Looks like Captain Jack Sparrow is pulling up anchor and heading to a new career in the music industry. Johnny Depp is set to release a double CD set, titled "Son Of Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs And Chanteys". The album is the creation of Depp, director Gore Verbinski and producer Hal Willner and will be a sequel to 2006's album, "Rogue's Gallery".

The album, set to be released on February 18th, will feature guest vocalists Patti Smith, Keith Richards, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Courtney Love and Michael Stipe.
