"My Man is a Loser," the comedy starring Michael Rapaport (The Sixth Day, Hitch) and Bryan Callen (The Hangover, Old School), has announced that Emmy-nominated actor and producer John Stamos (who is set for THE BEST MAN in July), will join the film in a leading role. Rounding out the comedy's cast of supporting characters are Tika Sumpter (Gossip Girl, Sparkle, The Game), Kathy Searle and Heidi Armbruster.

Production of "My Man is a Loser" is happening now in New York City with an expected release date in spring 2013. The comedy was written and is being directed by acclaimed comedian and writer Mike Young.

The film centers on two married men (Rapaport and Callen) who enlist their single playboy friend (Stamos) to help them get their mojo back in an attempt to save their lackluster marriages. Things start to backfire almost immediately, leaving their wives wondering if the new versions of their husbands are worse than the old ones.

"My Man is a Loser" is being produced by David Goldin and Eric Bamberger of Step One of Many Entertainment (http://www.steponeofmany.com) along with Vince Maggio. Michael Becker of Imprint Entertainment is executive producer. The team will be relying heavily on digital and social media to promote the film

"We anticipate this to be the one of the heaviest digitally promoted independent with digital impressions reaching numbers in the billions including buzz on Twitter, Facebook and other social spaces," said Bamberger. "We are leveraging the social power of the film, actors and even the characters to make this film – and its premise – buzz worthy and engaging for audiences."
