Jim Parsons Joins the Cast of Ted Bundy Flick Starring Zac Efron

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) has joined the cast of EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL AND VILE based on the life of serial killer Ted Bundy. Parsons joins a star studded cast which includes Zac Efron, Lily Collins, John Malkovich, and Jeffrey Donovan.

Parsons, A four-time, Emmy-winning actor is currently starring in the 12th season of THE BIG BANG THEORY and will soon be back on Broadway in the highly anticipated production of THE BOYS IN THE BAND. His last big-screen appearance was in the Oscar-winning drama HIDDEN FIGURES and he is coming off the Sundance Film Festival premiere of A KID LIKE JAKE an indie he produced and starred in opposite Claire Danes.

EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL, AND VILE, directed by Joe Berlinger, is currently being filmed in Kentucky and is reported to be released later this year. The film is told through the perspective of Elizabeth (Collins) who refused to acknowledge the crimes of her boyfriend and is written by Michael Werwie.
