Jennifer Lopez is 'Grateful' Following Car Accident with Friend

Jennifer Lopez and friend Leah Remini were in a car accident initiated by a drunk driver this weekend. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Lopez, 45, took to Instagram to share a photo taken minutes before the accident, saying,

"Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocs #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird."

Us Magazine reports that while stopped at a light, the car was rear-ended by a drunk driver on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. The two friends were in the car with two children in the back of the car as well.

Though the driver intially drove off following the incident, he was later caught by the police and is now facing DUI and hit-and-run charges from the police.
