Jamie Lee Curtis to Star in New 'Soapy' Medical Drama for CBS

Variety reports that Jamie Lee Curtis will star in a "soapy quadruplets-focused medical drama" form "Brothers & Sisters" producer David Marshall Grant. The actress will portray 'Caroline', described as "a dynamic and distinguished physician and mother of now-adult quadruplets who grew up on a reality show."

Curtis will soon be seen in the upcoming "Veronica Mars" movie and recently guest starred as Zooey Deschanel's mother on Fox's "New Girl."

Curtis is best known for her starring roles in several horror films including Halloween, The Fog, Prom Night, and Terror Train. She has won BAFTA and Golden Globe awards and has starred in other films including A Fish Called Wanda, Freaky Friday and Trading Places. Her 1998 book,Today I Feel Silly, and Other Moods That Make My Day, made the best-seller list in The New York Times.
