Syfy has named award-winning advertising creative James Spence, most recently BBC Group Creative Director at Red Bee Media, to the position of Vice President, Creative Director, effective immediately.
Based in the New York office, Spence will report to Michael Engleman, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Global Brand Strategy and Creative, Syfy.In his new role, Spence will oversee creative development of all on and off air promotions for the channel.Said Engleman: "James' track record of creating buzz-worthy and innovative creative solutions will make him a great addition to a team already committed to making imagination our top priority. In this position, Spence developed multi-platform branding campaigns for all of the major BBC Channels.
