James Newton to Write Score for CATCHING FIRE

Composer James Newton Howard has confirmed in an interview with Film Music Site that he will be back to score CATCHING FIRE, the second installment of THE HUNGER GAMES. 

Howard originally placed Danny Elfman in composing the score for the first HUNGER GAMES. Howard has previously worked with CATCHING FIRE's director, Francis Lawrence, on Lawrence's films I AM LEGEND and WATER FOR ELEPHANTS.

He has also worked on THE DARK KNIGHT, SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, THE GREEN LANTERN, THE BOURNE LEGACY, and THE SIXTH SENSE.
