Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D are headed to Austin with Shine America to promote "Ghost Ghirls," a web comedy about 2 hilariously inept ghost hunters, coming to the Yahoo! Screen. A watch party and concert will be presented by Yahoo! in the web company's venue at SXSW on March 13th. One of the episodes screened during The Watch party features Val Kilmer.

"There is no better place to unleash the beast that is GHOST GHIRLS on an unsuspecting audience," Black said. "Austin knows how to rock, and how to party, and how to marvel at the supernatural forces that inhabit our world. I'm so proud of this show, and I will be there with bells on, to bask in the glory."

Golden Globe nominee Black, Jake Johnson, Molly Shannon, Jason Schwartzman and numerous other celebrities will make cameo appearances in the hilarious, scripted 12-episode paranormal procedural.

Ghost Ghirls follows the comedic antics of two young female ghostbusters, played by Amanda Lund and Maria Blasucci--a pair of investigators attempting to solve the mysteries behind paranormal phenomena. At the same time, they attempt to convince their clients, some other-worldly visitors and themselves, that they are legit.

Ghost Ghirls was created by Jeremy Konner, Lund and Blasucci, who also serve as executive producers. Electric Dynamite's Black and Priyanka Mattoo are executive producers, as well. Konner (Comedy Central's Drunk History) is directing the series.
