JON GLASER LOVES GEAR Season Two Premieres on truTV

Comedian/actor Jon Glaser is back with a new season of his hybrid scripted comedy series Jon Glaser Loves Gear, premiering tonight at 10:30PM ET/PT on truTV. In Season 2 of Jon Glaser Loves Gear, will Jon's ridiculously intense passion for gear derail his television show, his friendships and relationships with both his real and fake families? Or will Jon be able to summon the strength to find the emotional gear he needs to get through it all? Joining the cast in the 10-episode sophomore season are Bowen Yang ("Saturday Night Live") and guest star Christine Taylor ("Search Party"). Jon Glaser Loves Gear stars Glaser, Steve Cirbus, John Hodgman, Eva Solveig and Miriam Tolan. Catch up on Season 1 on truTV.com, the truTV app and Video on Demand.

Jon will be at SF Sketchfest for Jon Glaser Loves Gear live with John Hodgman on Saturday, January 18 at Cobb's. Jon then heads north for stand up dates in Seattle at Columbus City Theater on the 20th and Portland at Mississippi Studios on the 21st.

Jon Glaser is a suburban Detroit native and Second City Chicago alum. He is the creator and star of three original television series- Delocated!, NEON JOE, WEREWOLF HUNTER (both for Adult Swim) and Jon Glaser Loves Gear (truTV)- all of which he also co-wrote and co-produced. As an actor, Jon's most noted TV roles were Councilman Jamm on Parks and Recreation, and Laird on Girls. Other TV appearances include Inside Amy Schumer, Louie, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and Wonder Showzen. His film credits include Trainwreck, Be Kind Rewind and Pootie Tang. As a writer and consultant, Jon's credits include INSIDE AMY SCHUMER (Emmy nomination), Late Night with CONAN O'Brien (where he wrote for 5 years, was a regular performer and nominated for several Emmys), The Dana Carvey Show, Human Giant, and Cheap Seats. He is the author of the book My Dead Dad Was In ZZ Top.
