IFC Cancels Freshman Comedy GARFUNKEL & OATES

According to The Hollywood Reporter, IFC has cancelled its comedy series GARFUNKEL & OATES following its freshman season. The comedy concluded its run in September with an average of about 140,000 viewers.
Garfunkel & Oates (10x30) centered on the aspirations and misadventures of the female comedy-folk duo Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel) and Kate Micucci (Oates), and highlighted the personal and professional lives of the duo whose career choices - singing satirical and sometimes dirty songs - leaving them with little in common with their peers, and no one but each other to turn to for support and understanding.
