Havana Film Festival NY Announces 20th Edition

The 20th Havana Film Festival New York (HFFNY) features an exceptional program with over 35 films from Cuba, Latin America and Latino filmmakers in the U.S. in their New York, U.S., and world premieres. Participating countries are: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay and the U.S. The event takes place April 9-16, 2019, with special events on April 5, 6, 8.

HFFNY is the longest-running Latino Film Festival in NYC; it presents an annual film experience and cultural event that New Yorkers eagerly look forward to, premiering the latest Latin films by prominent and emerging cinema visionaries throughout the continent. The festival offers an international rainbow of award-winning films, retrospectives, master classes, and panel discussions with notable local and international directors, actors, and producers.
