Music City U.S.A. will be the site of the HGTV Smart Home 2014. Construction is underway on the Tudor-style residence in Duncanwood Reserve in the desirable Green Hills area of Nashville, Tenn.

Consisting of three bedrooms and 3 ½ baths, the HGTV Smart Home 2014 will feature many of the latest technology trends to connect the home's appliances and devices, and give the homeowner better control over energy use, security, interior climate and lighting.

HGTV viewers can enter for a chance to win the home when the HGTV Smart Home 2014 Giveaway opens for entries in April 2014, and can watch the home come to life at HGTV.com/smarthome.

"This is our second HGTV Smart Home, and it will be one of the most charming, beautiful homes we've ever built," said Jack Thomasson, HGTV professional house planner. "HGTV viewers will be pleasantly surprised at some of the design elements. This will be a space that really 'pops.'"

The special location is convenient to shopping and outdoor recreation venues, and lies just 15 minutes south of downtown Nashville, a vibrant community known worldwide for its talented musicians and country music heritage.

The HGTV Smart Home 2014 was designed P. SHEA | DESIGN and constructed by Carbine & Associates.
