Griffin Dunne Joins THIS IS US in Surprise Role

Entertainment Weekly reports that Griffin Dunne will join the season 3 cast of NBC's hit drama.

Dunne - known for his impressive resume including American Werewolf in London and Dallas Buyers Club - joins the cast in an extremely interesting role. He'll play the present-day version of Nicky Pearson, Jack (Milo Ventimiglia)'s presumed-dead little brother.

It was revealed at the end of the fall finale that Nicky is alive and living in a remote trailer in Bradford, Penn., just a few hours from the home where Jack and his family lived. Dunne appeared briefly in the final seconds of the fall finale.
