Today, we’re pushing the boundaries of filmmaking like never before.” said Greg Jacobs, Head of Distribution, Red Bull Media House North America.. “Through this collaboration with Gravitas Ventures, our content will be widely available and easily accessible on the main screen in the living room.”

“Red Bull Media House is producing epic content that is a cut above the rest. Period.” said Michael Murphy, President of Gravitas Ventures. “This key relationship will allow us to bring the best content from a marquee brand to our over one hundred cable, satellite, and telco VOD partners.”

RBMH titles covered in the Gravitas Ventures collaboration include:

The Art of Flight—(Snowboarding)—Equal parts of action and adventure mix with the inevitable drama encountered along the way. A new breed of action sports film comes to life as RBMH, in association with Brain Farm Digital Cinema, present “TAOF,” a Curt Morgan film. Two years in the making, The Art of Flight gives iconic snowboarder Travis Rice and friends the opportunity to redefine what is possible in the mountains. The Art of Flight has screened in film festivals including The San Antonio Film Festival and Vail Film Festival where it won Best Adventure Film.

Strength in Numbers—(Mountain Biking)—Viewed at a distance, the world of mountain biking is a disjointed network of seemingly similar but disconnected communities. Freeride. Downhill. BigMountain. All Mountain. Dirt Jump. Slopestyle. A sport of individuals, equally defined by their many differences, as The Common threads that bind. And while our story doesn’t follow a straight line, we all end up in the same place. Tire to ground, foot to pedal, hand to bar – communities drawn together by trails of dirt

Congo: The Grand Inga Project—(Kayaking)—Chronicles legendary kayaker Steve Fisher and his elite expedition team as they battle seemingly insurmountable obstacles, navigate the maddening politics of a crooked country and face their own worst fears in an attempt to be the first explorers ever to survive the Inga Rapids in Africa. “It was easily the closest I’ve ever come to dying,” Fisher said after the expedition..

We…A Collection of Individuals—(Skiing)—From award-winning Poor Boyz Productions, this new production takes the audience back to the core elements of epic ski films and will focus on top skiers from around the globe.

Where the Trail Ends—(Mountain Biking)— “Where the Trail Ends…” is a film following the worlds’ top freeride mountain bikers as they search for un-ridden terrain around the globe, ultimately shaping the future of big mountain freeriding. This unparalleled story documents man’s challenge of mother nature and himself showcased through a cast of colorful characters. This is the most progressive and ambitious mountainbiking ever attempted resulting in an entertainment adventure unlike anything experienced before.

Bending Colours—(Surfing)—A high performance surf film that introduces the talent behind the surfing. A moving portrait of Jordy Smith, from an average school kid in South Africa to the professional world title threat he is today, this film tells a story and will capture game-changing surfing.
