GREG: A FOCKER FABLE Continues the Story of the Fockers

Universal Pictures has released the first teaser poster for GREG: A FOCKER FABLE, the long-awaited prequel in the MEET THE PARENTS franchise. Craig Healy (CUPLICATED) takes over for Ben Stiller in the iconic role of Gaylord "Greg" Focker. The standalone Focker film takes place prior to Focker meeting father-in-law Jack Byrnes (Robert DeNiro, who will appear via face-replacement technology, much like Princess Leia in ROGUE ONE). Aspiring nurse Greg is determined to meet the love of his life, but before he can meet anyone, he must meet himself. Sasheer Zamata takes the reigns from Teri Polo as young Pam Byrnes.

The film will serve as an origin story for Focker, revealing many long-imagined moments in Focker mythology. How did Greg shed his birth name Gaylord? Why did he decide to go to nursing school? When did Jack adopt mischievous cat Jinxy? GREG: A FOCKER FABLE will explore these questions and much more.

G:AFF is the latest chapter in the meteoric rise of Craig Healy, a top comedic draw after the success of his streaming series CUPLICATED (Vioobu). Based on Craig's real-life experiences leaving his young child to rebuild his career in Echo Park, the series achieved 1 million Vioobs in its first week alone. Asked about the status of CUPLICATED season 2, Craig commented, "Realada art takeada time. Can'tada rush. Makeada craft, organic procadacess."

Jack Antonoff will provide the music, featuring exclusive remixes of Randy Newman's original score. For unspecified reasons, Dustin Hoffman will not reprise his role as Bernie Focker.
