GMA Ranks as No. 1 Morning Program During 2013 1Q

ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked as the No. 1 morning program during the 1st Quarter 2013 in both Total Viewers (5.389 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.026 million), according to Nielsen Media Research. In fact, 1Q13 marked the first time in 19 years that "GMA" has won a 1st quarter in Total Viewers and in 20 years in Adults 25-54 - since 1Q94 and 1Q93, respectively. In addition, after also winning the key adult news demo during 4Q12, "GMA" scored its first back-to-back quarter wins in Adults 25-54 in more than 18 years - since 2Q94 and 3Q94. In addition, 1Q13 represented "GMA's" 3rd straight quarterly win in Total Viewers, scoring its longest overall viewer winning streak in nearly 19 years - since 1Q94 - 3Q94.
Impressively, "GMA" ranked No. 1 in every week during 1Q13 (all 13 weeks) in Total Viewers for the 2nd consecutive quarter. In Adults 25-54, "GMA" ranked No. 1 in 9 of 13 weeks, including the final 8 weeks of the quarter.
