This week on THE GLEE PROJECT, the contestants kicked off the show receiving their homework assignment: "Like a Virgin," based around the theme "sexuality." Ashley Fink and Mark Salling (Lauren and Puck on GLEE) are to be this week's guest judges.

During the performance, some of the contestants go completely over the top, and it's probably due to this that Samuel - with what Lindsay describes as a "squinty, sultry gaze" - is chosen as the winner.

Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" will be the music video for the week, and the cast is paired up for the song: Damian with Lindsay, Hannah with Cameron, and Samuel with Alex. Cameron, in particular, is again uncomfortable with being paired up with someone while he has a girlfriend at home; he still struggles with drawing a clear line between acting and real life.

Samuel and Alex are up first during the shooting, and Samuel insists that sexuality is all in the eyes - something that Mark Salling says in their one-on-one that he and Ashley are "not good at...we're great at." Even though he's present for the meeting, Alex ignores the advice and continues to take his acting to outrageous levels.

Next up are Lindsay and Damian portraying a cheerleader and a jock, and while Damian needs extra direction to get through the segment, they finish with a kiss - much to an infatuated Hannah's disappointment.

Hannah and Cameron finish out the video without much incident, although their cooking-inspired segment ends up looking far more messy than sexy.

With only six contestants remaining, half of them are called to the "top three" this week and the remaining are the bottom three: Cameron due to his lack of seperation between acting and life, Alex due to his overacting, and Damian because Lindsay overpowered his presence in their scene.

Up first singing the classic Irish "Danny Boy" is Damian, who gives a good performance but is criticized for a "disconnect" by GLEE creator Ryan Murphy. Alex is assigned "I Will Survive" and, as with all his last chance performances, delivers a song that the judges all praise. Murphy, however, worries that Alex might be a "singer instead of an actor-singer." Cameron delivers a solid rendition of The Beatles' "Blackbird," but the judges bring up his inability to create a character that doesn't align with his beliefs.

It's at this point that Cameron breaks down and essentially says that he wants to quit the show; he thinks that it's "not fair" for him to stay if someone who was fully committed were to go home, but the judges decide to keep him in the competition and send Ryan Murphy to tell him personally. Cameron sticks to his guns, though, and says that he still intends to leave.

So in the end it's a relieved Cameron who "has no regrets" heading home, and Alex and Damian - who, according to the list, was slated for elimination - see another week.

From Ryan Murphy, the creator and Emmy® award-winning executive producer of "Glee," and executive producer of "Glee" Dante di Loreto, "The Glee Project" is a 10-episode competition series seeking to find the next star of "Glee" and will award one winner with the ultimate prize of a seven-episode role in season three of the hit FOX show. The series began with 12 extraordinarily talented individuals that were picked from thousands of entries, and an exhaustive nationwide and online talent search.

The series uncovers a unique group of artists from both professional and amateur backgrounds, proving every underdog has a fighting chance at stardom. Each week one contender is sent home through intensive rounds of singing, dancing and acting based on assignments. During the final ‘Last Chance Round,' the bottom three must perform for Ryan Murphy, casting director Robert Ulrich, and choreographer Zach Woodlee as they carefully assess which of them has what it takes to be one of the next new faces of the award-winning show.
