Comedian Fred Armisen will recur as a guest star on several episodes of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH as "Karl,"another SURVIVOR of the apocalypse - with an interesting past.

Armisen will make his first guest appearance in January 2018.

Fred Armisen is an actor, producer and writer in both comedy and music, who co-starred alongside THE LAST MAN ON EARTH star Will Forte during his eight-year tenure at "Saturday Night Live." Armisen is the co-creator, co-writer and co-star of the Emmy Award-nominated sketch comedy series "Portlandia," alongside Carrie Brownstein. He also received individual acting and writing Emmy Award nominations for this series. Armisen recently lent his voice to "The LEGO Ninjago Movie" and the animated streaming sitcom "Big Mouth." He also stars in the fictitious series "Documentary Now!" and recently starred in the film "The Little Hours." He has appeared in countless other feature films and television series throughout his career.
