Fifth Installment of 'Final Destination' in the Works

ComingSoon.net is reporting that Warner Brothers' Alan Horn announced today at ShoWest that the studio is working on a fifth installment of the horror film 'Final Destination'. Details on whether a director or writer are already attached to the project are not known at this time.

The first installment of 'Final Destination' was released in 2000 and starred Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith, Seann William Scott and Daniel Roebuck. The movie's premise centered on a group of teenagers who cheat death by avoiding a plane crash, but soon after begin to fall victim to freak accidents. The original film spawned three sequels, including a 3D installment released in 2009 which grossed over $180 million worldwide, and a series of books.
