ESPN to Exclusively Televise 2017 T-Mobile Home Run Derby

ESPN will exclusively televise the 2017 T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday, July 10, at 8 p.m. ET from Marlins Park in Miami, Fla. The event will feature Miami Marlins slugger and reigning T-Mobile Home Run Derby Champion Giancarlo Stanton, among other soon to be announced Major League Baseball stars. The T-Mobile Home Run Derby will also be available to be streamed via the ESPN App.

ESPN recently announced that multi-platform baseball commentator Karl Ravech has been named the new voice of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby. Ravech, who has been part of the event coverage for the past two years, will call the event alongside analysts Jessica Mendoza (second year) and Mark Teixeira (first year). Buster Olney will join the trio to provide reports.

During this year's T-Mobile Home Run Derby telecast, ESPN will incorporate Miami-centric footage and production elements throughout its presentation. ESPN's production will utilize various cameras to document the event, including several robotic cameras, the Phantom High Speed Camera to provide super slow motion replays of swings and multiple points of view cameras strategically located around Marlins Park.

In addition, the telecast will feature a new custom graphics package, which will include new looks for the scoreboard and home run distances. ESPN will also utilize StatCast to provide real time home run distance and exit Velocity data within the coverage.

ESPN2 Spanish-language Simulcast

ESPN2 will offer a Spanish-language simulcast of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby via ESPN Deportes' live on-site coverage. The team of Ernesto Jerez, analyst Eduardo Perez, reporters Pedro Gomez and Marly Rivera and guest reporter and former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ismael Valdez will provide commentary. Beisbol Esta Noche - hosted by Carolina Guillen and Ozzie Guillen - will precede the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on ESPN DEPORTES and Nacion ESPN will also air on ESPN2.

Baseball Tonight will air live from Marlins Park for two shows on Monday, July 10. A 90-minute edition of BASEBALL TONIGHT will air from 3-4:30 p.m., followed by a 60-minute episode from 7-8 p.m., which will lead into the T-Mobile Home Run Derby telecast. Karl Ravech will host the 3 p.m. show with analysts David Ross, Tim Kurkjian and Eduardo Perez. Adnan Virk will host the 7 p.m. episode with Ross and Kurkjian.

In addition, Intentional Talk, with host Chris Rose and analyst Kevin Millar, will be on site at Marlins Park for a live show from 5-6 p.m. It will be simulcast on MLB Network.

SportsCenter on the Road

SportsCenter on the Road - led by host Sage Steele - will be on site providing frequent updates leading into the T-Mobile Home Run Derby. Pedro Gomez and Eduardo Perez will contribute reports to SportsCenter.

T-Mobile Home Run Derby on ESPN Radio

ESPN Radio, the national radio broadcast home of Major League Baseball, will air the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, with coverage starting at 7:30 p.m. ESPN Radio's SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL team of Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton will describe the action, while Marc Kestecher will provide pre-game and post-game coverage. The T-Mobile Home Run Derby will also air on ESPN DEPORTES Radio.

ESPN Radio's THE RYEN RUSSILLO SHOW (1-4 p.m.) will emanate from The Clevelander in Miami, Fla on Derby day. Ryen Russillo will be joined by guest co-host Adnan Virk.

The 2017 All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game will air on ESPN immediately following the T-Mobile Home Run Derby. All MLB events and shows on ESPN are also available on the ESPN App.
