ESPN Announces Sponsors for X Games Aspen 2018

ESPN unveiled the sponsors for X GAMES Aspen 2018, taking place January 25-28, with live coverage on ESPN and ABC. SoFi joins the list of official sponsors with returning brands Harley-Davidson, the Jeep brand, LifeProof, Monster Energy and The Real Cost (FDA). GEICO also returns as the official music sponsor.

The event is also supported by new sponsors Botanicare, Great Clips, Netflix Original Series Altered Carbon, Nobis and Zelle, joining returning brand Polaris. Fans will also have the opportunity to browse product displays and on-site activations in X Fest provided by Comcast Xfinity, D'Angelico, Hibachi4Hire, Home Team BBQ, iHeartRadio, Munch, Wendy's and White House Pizza.

"The long-standing partnerships, as well as the new brand relationships, we've fostered around X GAMES Aspen are a testament to the quality event and spectatorship we deliver year after year at Buttermilk Mountain," said Greg Rossi, VP of Multimedia Sales, ESPN. "Our established relationship with the venue and local organizers allow us to create a fan experience that is highly engaging and immersive to those both on site and watching at home."

In addition to on-site activations, elements featured as part of sponsor packages include content creation and rights to the official marks and logos. Sponsors will also have a media presence during the X GAMES telecasts as well as prominent positions across X GAMES social platforms and VIP experiences on-site.

The 22nd edition of ESPN's annual winter ACTION SPORTS competition - and 17th consecutive X GAMES at Buttermilk Mountain at Aspen Snowmass - will feature the world's top ACTION SPORTS athletes competing in the sports of Ski, Snowboard, Snowmobile, Snow Bike and Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb. X GAMES Aspen 2018 will also feature an enhanced festival village experience, offering spectators a unique and wide-ranging interactive experience to complement the X GAMES competitions. The festival village will include a music stage with ticketed performances by LCD Soundsystem, Marshmello, Martin Garrix and Method Man & Redman.

ESPN and ABC will televise a combined 15.5 hours of live X GAMES Aspen 2018 coverage, which will also be accessible via the ESPN App to viewers who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider. Additional coverage of sports and music will be carried on ESPN3 as well as the latest coverage across ESPN digital platforms, including XGames.com, the X GAMES App, and X GAMES pages across YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more.
