According to Deadline, E! has put into a development a new scripted drama entitlEd GallERINA, by director and producer Mark Waters (MEAN GIRLS.) The script for the upcoming art gallery series was penned by Michelle McGrath.

GALLERINA follows a young woman attempting to break into the Los Angeles art world, where she works at the acclaimed Bettencourt Gallery. Her new job will test her intelligence and morality when she must deal with the wealthy, the artists, and her mother at the gallery.

Waters is joined by executive producer Jessica Tuchinsky, as well as Tollin Production's Ben Spector.
