Disney's SOFIA THE FIRST is Cable TV's #1 Telecast of All Time in Kids 2-5 with Live +7 Ratings

"Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" (7:00 – 7:50 p.m.)
Based on a full week of viewing, Disney Channel's "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" television movie became the #1 cable TV telecast of all time in Kids 2-5 (2.91 million/18.2 rating) and Girls 2-5 (2.13 million/27.2 rating), and the #1 preschool cable TV telecast ever in Total Viewers (8.17 million), Adults 18-49 (2.41 million/1.9 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.66 million/2.6 rating). It ranks #3 in preschoolers 2-5 across all telecasts in TV history, behind only "Super Bowl" games in 2011 and 2012.

"Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" netted regal gains, Live + 7 versus Live + Same Day, surging by 59% in Total Viewers (8.17 million vs. 5.15 million), by 99% in Kids 2-5 (2.91 million vs. 1.46 million) and by 123% in Girls 2-5 (2.13 million vs. 954,000).

The leader in family entertainment, Disney Channel holds the top cable TV telecasts of all time:

"High School Musical 2" (8/17/07) – #1 scripted cable telecast ever in Total Viewers (18.639 million).
"High School Musical 2" (8/17/07) – #1 cable TV telecast ever in Kids 2-11 (8.210 million), Kids 6-11 (6.536 million) and Tweens 9-14 (6.317 million).
"Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension" (8/22/11) – #1 animated cable TV telecast in Kids 2-11 (6.233 million).
"Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" (11/18/12) – #1 cable TV telecast ever in Kids 2-5 (2.91 million/18.2 rating, #3 across all TV behind two "Super Bowls") and Girls 2-5 (2.13 million/27.2 rating), and the #1 preschool cable TV telecast in Total Viewers (8.17 million) and Women 18-49 (1.66 million).
