Disney Channel Ranks as TV's #1 Total Day Network for the 142nd-Consecutive Week

For the week of February 24, 2014, bolstered by Friday's all-new line up of "A.N.T. Farm," "Dog With A Blog" and "Fish Hooks," Disney Channel extended its streak as TV's #1 Total Day network to 142-consecutive weeks among both Kids 6-11 (456,000/1.9 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (419,000/1.7 rating) - dates back to week of 6/13/11 - surpassing Nickelodeon by double digits in the target youth demos.

Disney Channel surpassed Nickelodeon by at least double digits for 120th time in the previous 121 weeks in Kids 6-11 (+13% - 456,000 vs. 405,000) and for 123rd-consecutive week in Tweens 9-14 (+60% - 419,000 vs. 262,000) - dates back to week of 11/7/11 and 10/24/11, respectively.

In Prime, Disney Channel ranked as cable TV's #1 network for the 459th-consecutive week among Kids 6-11 (753,000/3.2 rating - 8+ years) and 195th-straight week among Tweens 9-14 (704,000/2.9 rating - 3+ years).

Friday's all-new "Dog With A Blog" (8:30 - 9:00 p.m.) stood as the week's #1 TV telecast in Kids 6-11 (1.2 million/5.2 rating) and cable TV's #1 telecasts in Tweens 9-14 (967,000/4.0 rating).

24-Hour Disney Junior channel

24-hour Disney Junior channel ranked as TV's #1 preschool-dedicated Total Day network for the 48th-consecutive week among Total Viewers (437,000), Kids 2-5 (221,000/1.4 rating) and Boys 2-5 (115,000/1.5 rating) - every week since reporting public ratings on 4/1/13 - for the 31st in Girls 2-5 (105,000/1.4 rating) and 36th in Women 18-49 (87,000).

Disney Junior channel delivered the Top 3 series across preschooler networks for the 3rd-straight week in Kids 2-5 and aired the Top 10 telecasts in the target demo for the week:

Disney Junior channel exceeded Nick Jr. for the 48th-consecutive week in Kids 2-5 (+36% - 221,000 vs. 162,000) and Boys 2-5 (+46% - 115,000 vs. 79,000), 31st in Girls 2-5 (+25% - 105,000 vs. 84,000), 36th in Women 18-49 (+32% - 87,000 vs. 66,000) and for the 47th time in the previous 48 weeks in Total Viewers (+34% - 437,000 vs. 327,000 - Nick Jr. tied for #1 during week of 6/3/13).

Disney Junior channel out-performed Sprout by robust triple digits for the 48th-consecutive week in target measures: Total Viewers (+138% - 437,000 vs. 184,000), Kids 2-5 (+160% - 221,000 vs. 85,000), Girls 2-5 (+156% - 105,000 vs. 41,000) and Boys 2-5 (+161% - 115,000 vs. 44,000).
