DirecTV's KINGDOM season one arrives on digital HD today. The series stars Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Matt Lauria, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas and Joanna Going.
About "Kingdom" Season One: The renegade subculture of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a brutal one and Byron Balasco's critically-acclaimed series throws a serious jab as a raw family drama into the cage. Set in Venice, California, Alvey (Frank Grillo), a former MMA champion and his girlfriend Lisa (Kiele Sanchez) are in the fight of their lives to keep Navy St., Alvey's MMA gym, alive. Nate (Nick Jonas) is a controlled, disciplined fighter with a laser focus set on his future in the cage but he struggles with his own personal identity.
