Daniel Craig Confirmed as '007' for BOND 23

According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran Daniel Craig will indeed return as '007' for the latest James Bond film, BOND 23. Production for the film is set to begin in late 2011. Sam Mendes will direct the 23rd film in the Bond franchise and Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan will write the screenplay. Details on the plot of the film have not yet been released.

Despite many postponements due to MGM's financial troubles, the newest installment of the James Bond series, BOND 23, will be released in November 9, 2012.

Craig was last seen on stage in opposite Hugh Jackman in the Broadway production of A STEADY RAIN.  Film credits include: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001),  Road to Perdition (2002), Sword of Honour (2001), The Mother (2003), Layer Cake (2004), Enduring Love (2004) with Rhys Ifans, Steven Spielberg's Munich (2005), Infamous (2006), and The Golden Compass (2007). He is set to star in the highly anticipated Girl with the Dragon Tatoo film.
