Carson Kressley's time on the " Dancing With the Stars" dance floor ended Tuesday night when low judges' scores and a lack of fan votes sent him, and professional partner Anna Trebunskaya, packing.  However, high praise from his dance partner aside, Kressley revealed for the first time, on GOOD MORNING AMERICA that Trebunskaya was not his first choice for a professional partner. Comparing the process of the show's 13 celebrities being paired with professional dancers to online dating, Kressley said it was Russian dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, paired this season with U.S. soccer star Hope Solo, whom he really wanted to move with on the dance floor.

"I was kind of hoping for Maks," Kressley revealed on the October 19 GOOD MORNING AMERICA,also the show where Trebunskaya and Kressley first met and first learned they would dance together.  "I was like, ‘Wait, you're not Maks,'" he said. "But she is so much better than Max, so much lighter. I could not have asked for a better partner."

The duo's solid, and fun, partnership, after Kressley got over his initial disappointment, kept the pair going through the reality competition's notoriously grueling schedule of rehearsals and performances that has seen many a celebrity, from actress Kirstie Alley last season to Kressley's now former competitor, talk show host and actress Ricki Lake, this season, drop some serious pounds.

Although he is now voted off the dance competition, Kressley's competitive nature still remains,  "I see the Mirrorball Trophy right up there." he confessed, " I'm thinking I'm going to unscrew it and take it home with me tonight."

With Kressley out, the seven stars returning to compete for the trophy on Monday will be Lake and Solo, along with actor David Arquette, reality TV personality Rob Kardashian, soap star J.R. Martinez, activist Chaz Bono and TV host Nancy Grace.
