In keeping with its commitment to provide viewers with the greatest entertainment experience, DIRECTV's Audience Network will present one of television's most heralded series, 24, beginning Monday, January 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. For the first time ever, all eight seasons (192 episodes) of the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning series will air in HD, Monday – Thursday, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

"24 perfectly complements our current stable of critically acclaimed, award-winning dramas, such as Damages, and our upcoming series, Rogue," said Patty Ishimoto, Vice President Entertainment DIRECTV and General Manager of Audience Network. "24 is a unique series presented in an unparalleled format that had viewers constantly on The Edge of their seats. We are excited to provide our viewers with the opportunity to rediscover it as it was meant to be seen, unedited, commercial free and in HD."

Starring Kiefer Sutherland, each season unfolds over the course of one day, with each of the 24 episodes representing an hour in the life of Counter Terrorist Unit agent Jack Bauer. Told in real time, 24 follows Bauer as he races against the clock to thwart terrorist plots, including presidential assassination attempts, nuclear, biological and chemical threats, cyber attacks, as well as governmental and corporate conspiracies. The television movie 24: Redemption will air in advance of season seven.

24 features a large ensemble cast including Kiefer Sutherland (Touch, Melancholia, The Sentinel), Mary Lynn Rajskub (Little Miss Sunshine, Safety Not Guaranteed, Julie & Julia), Carlos Bernard (Babylon 5: A Call to Arms, Dallas), Dennis Haysbert (The Unit, Heat, Far From Heaven), Elisha Cuthbert (Happy Endings, The Girl Next Door), Gregory Itzen (Lincoln, Cover Affairs), Penny Johnson Jerald (Castle, October Road), Reiko Aylesworth (Damages, Hawaii Five-O), James Badge Dale (The Grey, Flight), William Devane (Revenge, The Dark Night), Kim Raver (Grey's Anatomy, Lipstick Jungle), Louis Lombardi (Any Day Now, Battleship), Roger R. Cross (Arrow, Continium), James Morrison (Revenge, Hawthorne), Jean Smart (Harry's Law), Connie Britton (Nashville, American Horror Story), D.B.
