Cori Abraham was named to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Development for Oxygen Media effective immediately. The announcement was made by Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, to whom she will report. For the past six years, Abraham has served as the Vice President of Development for Bravo where she executive produced such hits as the two time Emmy-Award winning "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List," and developed the upcoming "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Thintervention with Jackie Warner," as well as the just launched freshman series "Bethenny Getting Married?," which became Bravo's highest rated series premiere in the network's history.

In her new role, Abraham will oversee the network's development on both coasts -- while based in Los Angeles -- identify creative concepts, innovative formats and new talent that will appeal to Oxygen's Live Out Loud "Gen O" audience.

"Cori has outstanding relationships in the industry, a keen eye for talent and a gift for discovering breakthrough concepts," said Introcaso-Davis. "She has identified and developed watercooler content in a variety of genres and formats and we're excited to have her join us as we continue to build the 'Live Out Loud' brand."

This move reunites Introcaso-Davis and Abraham, as the two worked together at Bravo for four years, beginning in 2004, when Abraham joined as Director of Development. Abraham was promoted to Vice President, Development in 2007, then became Head of Development in 2008. In that role, Abraham oversaw the network's East and West Coast Development teams, shepherding a number of series through completion. During that time, both Introcaso-Davis and Abraham teamed up to develop numerous hit shows including "Flipping Out" and "Work Out."

Additionally, Abraham developed all of Bravo's original stand-up specials with Kathy Griffin, including the Emmy nominated "Kathy Griffin: She'll Cut A Bitch" and "Kathy Griffin: Straight To Hell."

Prior to her tenure at Bravo, Abraham served as Director of Development and Executive Producer at VH1. Her credits there include the series "Totally Obsessed" and "True Spin," as well as specials "Driven Presents: Stage Moms" and "Bootcamp: Showgirls." In addition, Abraham spent three years at FX as the Director of Comedy Development. In that role, she developed original scripted comedy and reality programming. Her accomplishments there include the Emmy-nominated "Lucky," starring John Corbett and the Howard Stern-produced series "Son of the Beach."

Abraham graduated from University of Wisconsin with two bachelor degrees -- one in Communications Arts and the other in Theatre Arts. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
