Cooking Channel Premieres Season 2 of TACO TRIP Tonight

Aarón Sánchez continues his journey to find the country's best tacos and authentic Latin cuisine in season two of Taco Trip, premiering tonight, August 25th at 10pm ET/7pm ET.

In each episode, he jumps mouth-first into one city's local taco scene, meeting the chefs, families and locals who define the Latin-side of each region. Kicking off in Denver, TACO TRIP also visits locales including San Diego, El Paso, Las Vegas, Austin, Baltimore, Atlanta, Boston and Portland, Maine.

In the season premiere, Aarón soaks up the sun, innovations and traditions of the Mile High taco scene in Denver. With his Tio Mario and cousin Javier as guides, Aarón's menu includes Pork Carnitas Tacos and Gouda Mash at Comida; the legendary Chile Relleno Burrito at El Taco de Mexico and Native-American Fry Bread and Braised Bison at Tacobe. He then has a Southern Mexico-inspired dinner with his family at Adelita's Cocina y Cantina, where chef Silvia Ayala infuses the flavors of her hometown Michoacán into her Carne Asada Tacos.

Aarón Sánchez is the award-winning chef/owner of Johnny Sánchez,with locations in Baltimore and New Orleans. He is a regular judge on CHOPPED and has appeared in several other Food Network series, including Heat Seekers, Chef vs. City, Best Thing I Ever Ate and Next Iron Chef. He is the author of Simple Food, Big Flavor: Unforgettable Mexican-Inspired Recipes from My Kitchen to Yours and La Comida del Barrio. Aarón's passion, commitment and skills have placed him among the country's leading contemporary Latin Chefs.
