Cooking Channel Announces April 2015 Highlights

After a visit to an Aboriginal cave dating back thousands of years, Eric continues his journey to the Aravina Estate complete with an impressive vineyard upholding ancient traditions in a modern setting. Inspired by the idea that the past informs the present, Eric prepares Goat Cheese Parfait with golden beets, apples, potatoes, and an olive vinaigrette.

Tiffani's WHITE COLLAR co-star Tim DeKay and his family join Tiffani, her husband Brady and their daughter Harper, for a family-style feast. Tiffani prepares a kid-friendly menu that even the adults love of Watermelon Salad with Fresh Mint and Feta Cheese, Pickle and Potato Salad, and tender and crispy Fried Chicken. Root Beer Floats with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream provide a sweet finish.

Tiffani is bringing in her friends Ashley Williams and Matthew Lillard for a feast just like mama used to make, but with some new twists! Nothing says classic like juicy Braised Tri-Tip Roast, fresh Parmesan Peas and Honey Sesame Carrots along with a dessert favorite from Tiffani's childhood, Cream Cheese Pie. These dishes have been passed on from generation to generation for a reason!

There is a bocce ball court on Gabriele's property that his Nonna Lola would play on all the time, but since Gabriele moved to the states the court has fallen apart. Now, he wants to repair it and bring it back to its former glory. When the court is ready, he gets the whole family together, including Nonna Lola, for a big feast and inaugural bocce ball tournament to officially reopen the court. Of course, all of the food for the feast will be favorite recipes of Nonna Lola. For an added treat, Gabriele will take the whole family to the medieval town of Colle di Val d'Elsa to learn how to make Lola's favorite cookies, Ricciarelli's, and bring these treats back for the party.

It is pretty well-established at this point that Gabriele dreams of a life on the farm, and while Deb is more of a city girl at heart, she has always supported and encouraged him to pursue his dream. On their property in Italy they have the patch of country land; all they need are the animals. Debi and Gabriele get their farm started by restoring the old chicken coop and going to a local farm to buy some chickens, and then they cook up a big farm-inspired feast to celebrate.
