Condoleezza Rice Joins CBS NEWS as Contributor

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has accepted a new job position.

On today's edition of FACE THE NATION, host Bob Schieffer announced that Rice had accepted a position to become the latest contributor for CBS NEWS.

Rice smiled at the sudden announcement, while Schieffer kept right on welcoming the rest of the roundtable.

According to the network, Rice will "use her insight and vast experience to explore issues facing America at home and abroad," they said in a statement released this morning to Politico.

As of now, no concrete details on Rice's start date - or which shows she'll be contracted to appear on - have been announced. BWW TV World will keep you updated on this exciting addition to the CBS NEWS roster.
