Comedy Central Acquires PARKS AND RECREATION and Announces an All-Day Marathon Premiere

Comedy Central announced today it has acquired all seven seasons of the Peabody Award-winning and Emmy-nominated Universal Television series Parks and Recreation, which will make its Comedy Central debut with an all-day marathon on January 21 (Martin LUTHER King Jr. Day). Select episodes will be available to stream on cc.com and the CC App.

From Deedle-Dee Productions, Fremulon, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Universal Television, PARKS AND RECREATION stars Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope, Aziz Ansari as Tom Haverford, Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson, Rashida Jones as Ann Perkins, Chris Pratt as Andy Dwyer, Aubrey Plaza as April Ludgate, and Rob Lowe as Chris Traeger, among others. The series is a hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat in the PARKS AND RECREATION Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

Executive Producers for PARKS AND RECREATION are Greg Daniels, Michael Schur, Howard Klein, David Miner, Daniel J. Goor, and Morgan Sackett.
